El Tacos was born from a journey across cultures, flavors, and passion for authentic street food.

While building his culinary career in Jamaica, Chef Sanket  worked alongside Chef Jose Vallejo, where one unforgettable taco changed everything. The bold spices, smoky flavors, and vibrant freshness instantly felt familiar — reminding him how food from different corners of the world can share the same soul.

Inspired by this connection, the duo dreamed of bringing real Mexican street flavors to India. But in 2020, the global lockdown paused their plans and left them stranded in Jamaica. Instead of giving up, they used that time to study regional Mexican cuisine, traditional ingredients, and authentic cooking techniques.

When Mexico finally reopened, they traveled across the country — exploring local markets, tasting street-side classics, learning family recipes, and absorbing the culture behind every bite. Back in their kitchen, months were spent experimenting, blending flavors, and perfecting recipes until they created something truly unique.

And that’s how El Tacos came to life — a place where authentic Mexican soul meets bold modern flavor.
